All-in-one computers recalled for fire risk

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M70z and M90z all-in-one computers are being voluntarily recalled for a defect in the power supply that could cause them to overheat and start a fire. Customers with affected computers are encouraged to stop using them immediately.

Lenovo has received two complaints worldwide of fire that have permanently damaged the machines. About 50,500 machines are subject to the recall. They were sold online, over the phone, and in stores from May 2010 to January 2012.

Not all ThinkCentre M70z and M90z computers are defective. A support page on the Lenovo website allows you to check if your computer is affected by the recall by entering its serial number.

If you or someone you love has been injured by a defective computer, contact the faulty consumer products lawyers of Ritter & Associates at 619-296-0123 today.
