Bruce Jenner involved in Pacific Coast Highway fatal wreck
Sixty-five-year-old former United States track and field athlete and current television personality William Bruce Jenner was reportedly involved in a multi-car crash that occurred along the Pacific Coast Highway in California on February 7 that resulted in the death of one woman,
A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told People magazine that the Pacific Coast Highway would be temporarily closed and that traffic was stopped in both directions.
Jenner, driving a blue Cadillac Escalade, was reportedly being chased on the highway by paparazzi when he rear-ended a white Lexus. The unnamed driver of the white Lexus lost control of her vehicle and swerved into traffic, where she was then hit by a Hummer. She was killed in the collision.
According to accounts, Jenner appeared to be uninjured after the wreck. He also allegedly passed a field sobriety test. The New York Post said that eight people were injured in the chain reaction car wreck.
