A San Diego surgical hospital is being sued by two former employees for practicing medical procedures without taking proper safety precautions.
Their lawsuit claims that their former employer, the San Diego Ambulatory Surgery Center, did not properly sanitize surgical equipment prior to surgeries and required employees to make quotas for patient referrals.
Their suit also alleges that some patients who had surgeries performed on December 30 could have been exposed to hepatitis C due to unsterilized surgical instruments.
Failure to sterilize instruments is but one of many potential surgical errors. If you believe you have been the victim of such an error, contact the medical negligence attorneys of Ritter & Associates at 619-296-0123.
