Female pedestrian injured when hit by a car in San Diego
A female pedestrian, who was not named in reports, was hit and wounded by a passing vehicle on the Via de la Valle entrance to northbound Interstate 5 in San Diego, San Diego 6 reported on March 24.
The woman was holding her dog when the pedestrian accident occurred at 5:45 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness’s account suggested that the vehicle’s driver may have been temporarily blinded by the glare of the sun, causing the driver to fail to take notice of the woman.
